Definition

For multinational corporate groups, internal reporting offices may be established across national borders, BUT: each affected subsidiary with 50 or more employees must maintain its own independent reporting office (Section 14 of the German Whistleblower Protection Act (HinSchG)). In practice: a hybrid model combining a local and an international escalation tier. Included in the HinSchG Kit: international reporting office concept.
